Focused on product and manufacturing process development for medical components. Ensure that proper engineering process are developed and documented to successfully introduce new products that meet the technical, quality, schedule and budget requirements.
Maintain R&D lab equipment, chemicals and consumables. Provide training to intern student / new user for R&D equipment.
Description of Responsibilities and Duties
Development of new products and process to meet technical, quality, schedule and budget specification and requirements
In-house process capability or continuous improvement projects
R&D lab maintenance (Procurement of chemicals and consumables, EHS, Training)
Interface with customers, inter departments and inter sites technical supports
Knowledge:
Solid Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background
Knowledge on metallic and polymer materials and their processing.
Medical products knowledge is a plus

Education:
Bachelor Degree in Materials / Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experiences preferred (Fresh graduate with positive learning depositions will also be considered)
Experiences on product development or new product introduction preferred
Familiar with Lean, P/FMEA and SPC/DOE preferred
Familiar with ERP system and ISO 13485 requirements preferred
