Roles & Responsibilities :
Lead the project in the design and development of mechanical components and system for the new medical device
Lead and oversee the engineering team, marketing, fundraising, quality assurance, clinical trial & regulatory activities to achieve project objectives/ milestones
Perform Design for manufacturing and assembly for mechanical system/ assembly
Perform feasibility study, verification, and validation activities according to test methods and protocol
Maintain records of design, risk management and testing activities as part of Design History File
Develop work instruction & SOP for manufacturing process and QMS system
Liaise and manage subcontractors; plan, implement, monitor, and control product development processes
Maintain Solidworks drawings and other technical documentation according to ISO13485 regulations and company procedures
Support in other ad-hoc activities
Skills & Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical / Biomedical Engineering /Precision Engineering or equivalent
Good technical knowledge in early-stage product design development
At least 5 year working experience in the relevant industry
Passion in owning and driving programs with development stage in years
Strong analytical skills, with problem-solving abilities in ambiguous situations
Experience working with regional team and medical device R&D industry will be an added advantage
Experience in GD&T, plastic molding or precision engineering
Experience in sourcing, selecting and liaising with contract manufacturer
Able to systematically plan and conduct experiments to test concepts
Able to work independently with minimum supervision
Experience in project management and business operations
Strong analytical skills, with problem-solving abilities in ambiguous situations
