Role Responsibilities
Join the global credit markets platform technology team to build the next generation Booking, Pricing, and Risk apps for credit securities and derivatives products.
Key expectations

  • Rebuild Credit Derivatives/Products (from murex2.1) Booking, Processing, Pricing and controls to a new in-house platform with new capabilities to be designed or existing ones extended, streamline the onboarding of new payoffs.
  • Integration with Booking and data APIs.
  • Intra-day risk leveraging books of records and risk engine.
  • Support the platform enhancements and innovation book of work around achieving low code and faster time-to-market for new financial markets products/apps.
Responsibilities
  • Own and deliver expected outcomes i.e., dozens of products re-platformed.
  • scope management: Work with business stakeholders on the scope, schedule, and mitigation of identified risks. Drive cross-team coordination and prioritization of work relating to Products, Segments, T&I.
  • Develop and execute plans and analyze backlog and priorities.
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
  • Team management - direct or matrix org.
Stakeholders
  • Financial markets platform teams, risk Engine, market data, static data, booking services.
  • Developers, Business analysts, SMEs, Program managers, Credit Traders
Our Ideal Candidate
What we are looking for in the candidate
  • Academic background in Science/Technology (preference for quantitative/analytics/engineering)
  • 10 years of relevant experience in Banking / Financial Markets/product companies with strong product and project management skills.
  • Delivering credit or equivalent derivatives products booking, pricing and risk (intraday).
The candidate should also be able to demonstrate:
  • Design-thinking/first approach to systems in the context of financial markets products and ability to articulate a delivery approach - features, plan, execution, resourcing and execution risk management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demanding stakeholders and teams.
  • Hands-on
Functional and Technical skills
  • Expertise in Product/Platform Design-thinking (architecture, UX, Journeys) and product management.
  • Expertise in financial products logical modelling.
  • Expertise in Trade Booking, life cycling, Processing and Pricing/Ref/Mkt Data, Risk and Analytics.
  • Ability to learn new tools/systems (risk, processing systems) and understand technology and functional designs.
  • Strong work management (eliciting work, documenting, tracking) skills: Scrum and Confluence/JIRA management as well as able to handle multiple scrums.
  • Broad understanding of technology & modern stacks.
Soft skills
  • Fluent in Business Communication (speaking and writing).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
