Job Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyzing, trouble shooting and investigate process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, quality, process materials use & utilities consumption
• Trial production and test run of new grade, new process and equipment Introduction, testing and control of new product grades
• Optimize plant operating efficiency, yield optimization and energy conservation
• Develop and implement programs and process engineering projects to optimize operations based on process analysis
• Process study, investigation and suggest plant improvement & modification
• Co-ordinate with technical section especially process engineer for process simulation, evaluation, investigation, performance & yield optimization
• Documentation of reports
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers
• Plan, co-ordinate and conduct safety activities such as HAZOP, risk assessments, PSSR etc
• All environmental compliance and regulatory requirements
• Analyze all aspects of operations such as quality, cost, etc. and make recommendations for improvement
• Execute process and safety engineering matters \xe2\x80\x93 undertake process and safety engineering audits from time to time and liaise with Technical Department and contractors on project matters
• Leaderships for Ad Hoc Project
• Any other duties as delegated or required by the management

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical / Chemical engineering or its equivalent
• Min 1 year of working experience in Chemical Manufacturing plant
