The FlightSense PM has overall responsibility for all aspects of a given program or contract including below three areas.

  • Customer relationship
  • Program & contract management
  • Program financial performance / profitability
These responsibilities represent the core of the PM function as outlined below:
  • Provides a centralized & single point of contact for the overall program. The PM is directly responsible for the program\xe2\x80\x99s overall success as measured in all terms and requirements of the program contract.
  • Lead / coordinate team activities for Technical Group, Inventory Planning, Contracts, Finance, Order Management, Ascentia and Operations & Strategy teams to reconcile any issues and assure that optimum customer satisfaction is being provided.
  • Jointly with management, establish program objectives coordinated with all areas involved to assure timely and profitable attainment of objectives.
  • Present during quarterly (or as defined by Finance) Program Performance Review meetings including risks and opportunities
  • Recommend changes to improve program growth and maintain or exceed original business case margins.
  • Review accounts receivable risks including unpaid invoices and outstanding quote holds and escalate as necessary with the customer to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support development of short- and long-term financial forecast with General Manager.
  • Conduct Program & Technical review meetings with customers at agreed frequency.
  • Coordinate & support EIS teams for new programs.
  • Review Customer Service Level performance and Repair Station performance to FlightSense. Escalate any operational issues to tie meetings. Develop and coordinate corrective action plans as required to meet contractual obligations and limit penalty exposure.
  • Assist in development and review of Contractual and Business Obligations as part of new Agreements (Business/Marketing initiatives & Program Expansions). Assist in the support of new business activities and negotiations as required.
  • Ensure program quality and support timely resolution of customer process turn backs and escapes.
  • Provide overall leadership on programs and coach / mentor others for program and individual performance improvements.
  • Own Quick Reference Sheet (QRS) for program and make any necessary changes to support appropriate configuration management.
  • Collaborate with SBU service engineering on product performance enhancements.
  • Work with asset management team to review the asset availability for own programs, raise the eCAR process for spare augmentation.
  • Report the monthly fleet utilization and work with finance team to issue the invoice accurately to customers.
