Our Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Retail Function Team Dyson\xe2\x80\x99s Global IT \xe2\x80\x93 Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Retail Systems Function \xe2\x80\x93 has end-to-end accountability for the strategic roadmap, design, delivery, and support of all business applications enabling Dysons global planning, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain aftersales and retail business processes. Forming a large proportion of the IT Function, the team is arranged into three business and technology-focused domains:

The Role Reporting to the Head of IT \xe2\x80\x93Manufacturing & Planning, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of programmes, focusing on strategizing and orchestrating a group of projects to support long-term business goals. This role will also be responsible for managing the risks and benefits of the programmes and will collaborate throughout the organization to remove any possible blockers. The responsibilities of the role entail the following:
Leading projects and programmes independently as well as providing leadership and coaching to Project Managers
Formulating and organizing programs with clear objectives to support business goals that are aligned with key stakeholder expectations
Providing leadership, guidance, and direction to projects throughout the lifecycle of the program, to ensure delivery of agreed scope on time and within budget as well as value-based outcomes.
Identifying and onboarding key resources required to deliver the programs
Developing a team of project managers with focus on career development and succession planning
Owning (creating and maintaining) the program plan of key activities, outputs, and dependencies.
Owning the program financials (forecasting, budgeting) and resource modelling.
Tracking and mitigating risks and issues, documenting and managing assumptions, escalating where required.
Documenting, tracking and managing dependencies across and within the programs.
Effectively manage relationships with Project Manager(s) and Product Manager(s)/teams, including product and delivery teams and 3rd parties where required.
Managing expectations of sponsors and other stakeholders through timely, well-structured communications on progress and program health.
Driving robust project governance, taking into consideration delivery, architecture, and change management.
Establishing regular meeting cadence required to effectively manage and govern program delivery
Developing standard approaches to assess program performance; periodically assess program performance to maximise ROI.
Ensuring that your programmes and third parties are working within the bounds of Dyson\xe2\x80\x99s policies and any global legislative compliance e.g. GDPR, PCI, Cyber Security standards etc
Effectively manage global IT risks and issues associated to your programme
About You Possesses very strong interpersonal communication skills and is able to interact with key business stakeholders up to Executive levels. Ability to manage third party of different sizes and complexities. Demonstrates strong leadership qualities and is able to manage teams across the globe in a matrix organisation. Core Competencies
Project Management qualifications desirable e.g., PMP / Prince II certifications or equivalent
Proven track record of successfully driving and delivering end-to-end large complex scale IT solutions/ projects within regions or globally
Experience in integration management, test approaches and cutover plans
Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software and system development in key systems such as SAP, MES etc.
Experience in negotiation and working with project and process management teams.
Experience in stakeholder management.
Good planning and organization skills with key attention to budget and resource management
Demonstrable problem-solving skills.
Demonstrable organizational skills.
Knowledge in vendor management / managing suppliers
Strong management and leadership skills
Familiarity with (functional and technical knowledge) within the ecosystem of Manufacturing and planning systems and partners.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Some travel may be required
You should have minimal 10 years of relevant experience in driving similar programmes/projects.
