Job Summary

• Able to perform as a project leader of any related software development project from definition to implementation.
• Collaborate with programmers/developers, in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications
• Critically reviews all developed programs prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance with established departmental guidelines, policies, and practices; performs acceptance testing and program implementation for assigned systems and/or projects.
• Liaise with Network/System Administrator and Application Specialist to assist in resolving application and database problems and other business and operational issues.
• Write complex scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance of applications as necessary; Using applicable tools, develops custom queries and reports to meet user reporting requirements.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
• Communicates regularly with immediate supervisor regarding the status of current project.
• Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines
• Train end users to operate new or modified programs.
• Manage and provide guidance to junior team members.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and other related course
• Minimum of three (3) years IT professional experience in the same capacity
