We provide our customers with optimal and innovative solutions within engineering, construction, modifications and maintenance throughout a project's entire life cycle. Aibel's 4000 skilled employees are located close to our customers at the company's offices in Norway and South East Asia. In addition, we operate two modern yards in Haugesund and in Thailand, with complete prefabrication and construction capabilities.
Job responsibilities:

• Assist Project/Finance Manager in time recording and reporting.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating cost rates in SAP.
• Maintain matrix of man-hour rates.
• Start-up and close-out of projects in SAP project builder.
• Create/modify/close WBS structure in SAP.
• Monthly closing of project accounts and invoicing.
• Analyse and reconcile monthly revenue.
• Accrual of revenue and cost at month-end.

Post, prepare and email vendor payment certificates to supplier at month-end.
Verify and reconcile vendor invoices with payment certificates and submit to process in SAP.
Verify hire-in personnel manhours and cost rates on agency invoices.
Responsible for the cost control activities on a project:
Monitor and control actual cost expenditures.
Track project commitments and spending.
Maintenance and updating project code in SAP.
Assist in mobilising personnel to projects.
Process travel / expenses claims and recharge of costs.
Analyse and process secondment invoices.
Ensure work is carried out according to applicable procedures and work instructions.
Continuously seek improvements to projects cost, processes and schedule.
Familiarisation with applicable statutory requirements, laws, rules and regulations.
Pro-active and able to communicate and coordinate with the project team in a dynamic,
smooth and efficient matter.
Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Work experience requirements:

• 8 + years relevant work experience with project cost controlling / project financial management.
• Have a high working capacity and ability to accept periodic work pressure.
• Preferable to have experience in FPSO / Oil and Gas Projects.
• Strong industry knowledge in an MNC work environment would be an advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering / Accounting

• Proficient in the use of excel and ability to adapt quickly to new IT tools.
• Must possess strong communication and written skills in the English language.
• Effective problem-solving, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous and good analytical skill.
• Knowledge of SAP will be highly advantageous.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively with people across various cultures.
• Ability to travel at short notice / perform overtime work as required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of official data and documents
