Job Responsibilities:60%

• Help to plan resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Support and track project costs accurately to meet budget/project margin
• Support and develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Execute the Project or Services and ensure our company performs its contractual obligations in accordance with terms and conditions agreed with customers
• Manage quality control activities during projects execution.
• Manage health and safety activities during projects execution.

5%

• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about financial status, execution strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• EHS monitoring and regular reporting

10%

• Regular visits to customers\' site or office for project planning and coordination purposes with the customer.
• Based at site during work execution to provide adequate oversight and guidance to the project site team.
• Manage customers and vendors relationship throughout the execution phase
• Engage with subcontractors to ensure their contractual obligations are clearly defined, their costs are controlled, ready for execution and conduct the project execution in accordance with contractual requirements

5%

• Participate in discussions and various meetings about project/services strategy and expansion for its group businesses and implement necessary actions
• Advise to improve business to attain more efficiency and expansion of business customers
• Compile lesson learnt and discuss with the various business teams

20%

• Support the sales team during sales development and provide inputs to improve cost calculation accuracy
• Provide technical support to the Sales Team during Sales Development Phase
• Upsell any potential upgrade or services during project execution
• Read technical service reports from Technical Advisors and identify new sales opportunities

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum 5 years of progressive and practical experience in the execution of building works (essential), preferably in Energy Industry.
• Must have experience in the role of the Technical Controller, he would be familiar with the Building Control Act by BCA and has experience in personally supervise the execution and performance of any general building work in Singapore, that the builder undertakes to be carried out.
• Being in this role, he will have performed duties and experienced being prescribed to it under the Building Control Act (must be familiar with the Building Control Act by BCA).
• Basic Knowledge or experience executing and completing turnkey projects
• Basic understanding of project budgeting/financial planning and cost tracking
• Able to manage project dependencies, risks and issues with the project teams to overcome challenges or propose mitigation plans and if required, escalation to Management for decisions
• Basic understanding of project management principles
• Able to define project objective
• Good understanding of safety, health, environmental and quality practices.
• Basic understanding of scheduling methods
• Know-how in identifying business opportunities connected to projects in execution
• Know-how in managing risk related to projects in execution
• Outgoing and positive personality
• Ability to build relationship quickly and effectively
• Analytical and problem-solving skill
• Knowledge of new MS Office software (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Project Management certification is a plus
