Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate the planned and corrective maintenance of the vessel, to ensure its highest possible operational readiness.
• Conduct and document all pre- and post-deployment checks when handing/taking over the vessel to/from the client
• Provide SAP system support for the office, e.g. creating SAP MOs, PRs and sales orders, matching billing documents to payments, update of authorization matrix, create Project and WBS elements, vendor creation etc
• Conduct daily systems and navigations data check onboard ship.
• Verify work notifications from the client/ship owner before submitting to the Manager for approval
• Carry out engineering inspections and maintenance audits of the vessels
• Support defect investigations, fault diagnosis and defect trend analysis
• Provide engineering solutions or improvements as and when required
• Maintain good record on technical drawings and system drawings for vessels
• Provide engineering support on spares and materials, e.g. alternative spares, spares obsolescence, replacement and Beyond-Economical-Repair
• Plan, monitor, track and control the vessels’ MRO activities, in consultation with Owner Rep
• Plan, manage and track the vessels’ MRO expenditures, spares and materials utilization
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and Owner Rep on all maintenance activities and ensure successful completion of projectio safely and on time.
  

• Diploma/Degree in Marine / Mechanical / Naval Architect Engineering
• Possess at least 3 years' experience in similar capacity from marine industry, especially in Ship Repairs
• Possess Safety Instruction for Ship Repair Manager Certificate will be an advantage
• Knowledge on SONAR for navigation systems will be advantageous, not a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft office
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Willing to work OT and on weekends when required.

• 5 days work week
• Working Hours: 7.45am-5pm
