We treat each other with care and respect and make time to give everyone a voiceWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team acting in the capacity for the Client in a regional setting and role. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving infrastructure developments while always ensuring compliance with client standards and policies, focusing on redundancy, safety, and risk mitigation. You will work closely with regional teams, reviewing their work and providing guidance to ensure adherence to standards and to minimize potential disruptions caused by ongoing construction works that may infrastructure services and utilities. This position requires a strong understanding of M&E systems, risk identification, mitigation strategies, and excellent stakeholder management skills.Responsibilities:

  • Play a critical role in ensuring the smooth daily operations while driving infrastructure projects.
  • Review the work of regional teams to ensure compliance with client standards and identify and address potential risks to avoid disruptions to daily operations.
  • Collaborate closely with regional stakeholders to provide guidance and support in the implementation of projects and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee the assessment of redundancy and safety measures to minimize the impact of ongoing construction works on power and utilities.
  • Review technical drawings and specifications by designers and contractors with input/comments for their further development and eventual implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules as required.
  • Review technical documentation for tender ensuring that stakeholders\' and client requirements are included and met.
  • Review related project documentation throughout projects lifecycle ensuring compliance to standards and policies, while providing timely input for changes, mitigating any other project risks associated to facility/operations.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues with clear instruction for downstream follow up and compliance.
  • Maintain frequent communication and follow up on regional teams for upcoming works and tasks.
  • Execute, facilitate, and review any testing and commissioning as required (ASHRAE Cx process or similar), working with all stakeholders and ensure mitigation of risks for facility/operations and compliance to standards and policies.
  • Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders in a clear and effective manner.
  • Prepare presentations/reports for stakeholders/client daily/weekly and when requested.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to ensure effective collaboration and smooth project execution.
  • Competent in understanding client\'s policies and standards to ensure downstream works are compliant through regular meetings and communications with regional teams.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to critical facilities and technology.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, preferably in a mission critical projects or critical facilities environment.
  • Experience in Critical Facilities projects (i.e. data centers, command and control centers, high-performance computing, etc. or similarly complex projects that may include science laboratories, high-tech manufacturing, light-industrial, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) systems and their criticality in daily operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with regional teams and provide guidance to ensure compliance and operational continuity.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience of managing escalation and emergency issues.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • An independent self-starter who works well in ambiguous situations and demonstrates integrity with minimal supervision.
  • An ability to influence others without formal authority and obtain support across organizational boundaries.
  • A "team player" orientation able to work collaboratively with others, with good conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience in a large, multi-national corporation or an entity with multiple cross functions/departments and global reach.
  • Willingness to work outside of normal hours to resolve technical issues in a 24/7 industry
  • PMP certification is a plus.
