• Supporting WSP’s in-house Surveying Services team with the successful delivery of projects/programmes
• Taking direction to meet service excellence ambitions
• Supporting and collaborating with a growing team of professional Surveyors
• Mentoring and supporting our junior team members
• Leading day-to-day client contact for your projects
• Taking ownership for the successful delivery of projects/programmes; giving leadership and direction to the team, effectively communicating with all parties, identifying and managing risks, planning and progress monitoring, and development of appropriate project controls.
• Undertaking line management duties and supporting a growing team of professionals
• Working with our team to create work winning strategies and assisting in bid development process for new commissions
• Championing excellent health and safety practice to achieve safe, sustainable and efficient outcomes that meet agreed objectives.

YOUR TEAM

• Surveying Services (UK)
  • Working within a team of 28 Surveyors based UK wide, consisting of Topographical, Measured Building & Buried Services Surveyors and UAV Pilots.
  • Working on surveying projects UK wide
  • Varied client base from Local Authorities to Multi-Discipline Consultants
  • Reporting to the survey team lead
  • Hardworking
  • City based offices, with excellent transport links and surrounding area includes shops/café/parking train station
  • Surveying Services promote the power of joined-up geospatial technologies to bring locational data alive

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• A full member or working towards membership of an appropriate professional institution (CIOB,APM,RICS)
• Relevant works experience/post qualification experience in engineering surveying and project management
• Currently hold a role as a project manager or senior project manager
• A University degree or related discipline (highly desirable)
• Knowledge, understanding and experience of providing leadership and project management services on any of the following: logistics, highways, transport, education, energy, waste, water, local government, education, net zero, manufacturing, retail, commercial and housing
