Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the full tendering cycle, from pre-qualification through to final bid submission. Review tender documents, project requirements, and contract terms to ensure they align with the company's capabilities and financial goals. Compile and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with all submission criteria. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to assess contractual risks and financial implications. Develop precise cost estimates, budgets, and competitive pricing strategies for bids. Analyze all project cost components, including materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and overheads. Identify cost-saving measures and propose alternative construction methods to improve bid competitiveness. Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities during the tender process. Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance, operations) to collect data required for tender development. Negotiate pricing and finalize agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize cost efficiency. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and contract negotiations to better understand project scopes. Identify and assess potential risks related to technical, contractual, and financial aspects of tenders. Ensure all tender submissions meet legal, regulatory, and safety standards mandated in Singapore. Maintain thorough records of tender submissions, communications, and internal approvals. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to inform bidding strategies. Evaluate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to grow the company's project pipeline. Provide senior management with strategic insights and recommendations to improve tender win rates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Possesses experience in Tendering for project related to Electrical OR; Possesses experience in handling Electrical Projects (

Commercial

) Candidate who possesses experience handling Singapore Government related projects will be a bonus.
