Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Planner for work in our Singapore team, who meets the following requirements:
A minimum of 2 - 5 years\' technical delivery experience gained within a professional environment
Experience in varied sectors and forms of procurement.
Experience in use of programme software: Microsoft Project experience is essential, other similar packages an advantage.
Experience within Project Controls / Programme Management environment.
Good technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills. * Articulate: Able to communicate issues in a clear manner, both verbally and written.
Analytical thinking: Able to demonstrate a logical approach to problem solving.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined, and commercially astute.
A team player with a \'can do\' attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible.
Educated to degree or equivalent level, PRINCE 2 and / or MSP an advantage.
All individuals working on the project are required by the client to hold Security Clearance. The client will facilitate this process and initiate the necessary background checks, applicants should note this mandatory requirement prior to applying.
The successful candidate(s) will support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing, and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as preferred service provider.
Responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:
Provide a Planning and Programming service to both external and internal clients, ensuring that all time related issues within projects are effectively considered and are able to be controlled or addressed.
Provide consultancy advice on all programming and monitoring issues
Prepare high level strategic programmes to identify and assess impact of key sequence, responsibilities, and key strategies
Presenting information in a manner to enable the understanding of non-technical stakeholders
Monitor and report against programmes at all stages including the use of S-curves, trend analysis, baselines, Critical Path analysis, rescheduling etc.
Undertake analysis of others\' programmes, as provided, for example, by Contractors, specialist, and other supply chain members.
Prepare Critical Path analysis.
Establish sequence, durations, and options for all stages of projects including design and procurement, legal, financial, gateways, delivery & commissioning.
Co-ordinate with project teams including clients, project managers, other consultants, and supply chain members, to negotiate and co-ordinate project and programme issues.
Provide consultancy advice on delay mitigation and undertake comprehensive delay and forensic analysis activities.
Develop site logistic and phasing management plans.
Resource programmes to demonstrate key inputs & outputs.
Working in any or all sectors including residential, retail, commercial, life sciences, health, education, and transport / infrastructure.
A key contributor in the Project Management team assisting in the successful implementation and delivery of large, complex projects.
Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
