Senior Purchaser (chemical) ($4500 $6000/aws/vb)

Job Description
$6K + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: East
Responsibilities
- Sourcing and perform RFI/P/Q based on inputs from requestors.
- Negotiation with vendors to attain right price, right delivery, right place.
- Bid comparison and award recommendation with proper justification
- Follow through using the appointed systems (SAP/Bizagi/Jira, etc.) until approvals are attained
- Work with Freight forwarders to arrange for delivery to site or appointed destination as necessary.
- Own supplier relation management, including developing an understanding of major suppliers\' business development, positioning in the market, pricing benchmark and other supplier intelligence, with the aim to position CMA as the preferred customer.
- Perform vendor qualification for new vendors, including liaising with finance to have new vendor created in SAP
- Prepare and conduct Monthly Raw Material Pricing update to Local and Global procurement
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in relevant fields or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the chemicals industry or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
