Job Description

The Senior Purchasing Manager will be reporting to Director, Global Procurement and he/she is to oversee the supply chain & purchasing functions, in collaboration with the engineering and manufacturing departments. Has a vast experience in industry electrical components, Electro-mechanical category and test equipment related background.

  • Leading and implementing a regional supply Chain Strategy in support of the Global program that is synchronized with segment material strategies and metrics.
  • Drive supply assurance in the Manufacturing facilities regionally.
  • Responsible and collaborate closely with Planning in ensuring material availability for manufacturing and operation's needs.
  • Drive savings and other Procurement initiatives including cross functional collaborations.
  • Reviews and approves purchases up to a specified line authority threshold amount.
  • Monitors performance on timely production schedules, inventory and shipments with buyers team.
  • Evaluates the potential VA/VE of cost efficiency upon product development completion.
  • Responsible and collaborate the needs of dual sourcing activities and new material introduction to Engineering team.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and take ownership for business case.
  • Application of the source to pay process, inclusive of customer centric support content and preferred payment methods, as part of key result areas in SCM.
  • Establish supplier relationship management activities for key assigned suppliers within the region.
Job Requirement:
  • Degree in Business /Electrical / Mechanical / Master Degree in Business Administration or other relevant discipline
  • Minimum 10-15 years of related experience in manufacturing / Test environment and/or Supply Chain with related industry.
  • Manages a generally homogeneous team, adapts plans and priorities to meet service and operational challenges from time to time.
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical operational and organization problems from time to time.
  • Motivates and a strong mentor to team
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skill
  • Demonstrated ethical behaviour and professionalism in inter-department and customer contact
  • Knowledge of P2P, SAP S4 Hana and other ERP system
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $7,000.00 - $10,000.00 per monthSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus
