About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Senior QA Engineer

to join our software development team. In this role, you will lead quality assurance activities, drive automation initiatives, and help ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our products. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams, and play a key role in shaping QA best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute QA efforts across the software development lifecycle. Design, develop, and maintain

manual and automated test cases

for web, mobile, and API-based applications. Implement and evolve

test automation frameworks

to improve efficiency and coverage. Perform

functional, regression, integration, and performance testing

. Partner with developers and product managers to review requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure testability. Track, report, and communicate QA metrics and results to stakeholders. Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a culture of quality.

Requirements

5+ years of QA/testing experience

, including strong test planning, execution, and reporting skills. Proficiency with

automation tools

(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG). Experience in

API testing

(Postman, REST Assured, or similar). Familiarity with

CI/CD pipelines

and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Diploma/Polytechnic, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience

in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in

Agile/Scrum environments

QA/Testing certifications

(e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).

Agile certifications

(e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agile, ICAgile). Exposure to

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of

performance/load testing tools

(e.g., JMeter, Locust).
