Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA & QC Engineer with a strong background in Zeiss CMM programming using Calypso software. The ideal candidate will take the lead in quality control and assurance processes, conduct high-precision dimensional inspections, and drive continuous improvement in product quality.

Responsibilities:

Develop and operate Zeiss CMM programs using Calypso for precision measurement.

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of components.

Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols accurately.

Lead quality control processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 / IATF 16949 standards.

Identify, document, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and CAPA.

Support internal and external audits, including documentation and corrective actions.

Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff on inspection tools and techniques.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and supplier quality teams.

? Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

5+ years of QA/QC experience, preferably in precision engineering or manufacturing.

Proficient in Zeiss CMM programming (Calypso software).

Strong knowledge of GD&T, ISO, and quality tools (SPC, MSA, 8D, FMEA, etc.).

Hands-on experience with measurement tools: micrometers, height gauges, etc.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
