Senior Quantitative Researcher$150,000 \xe2\x80\x93 $250,000 + Performance Related BonusesLocation: Singapore Type: PermanentMy client are a leading systematic hedge fund with a global presence. After stellar performances across the APAC region, they are actively expanding their Singapore office and seeking a Senior Quantitative Researcher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systematic equities or futures trading and a proven track record in quantitative research. This is a hands-on role that covers the entire research lifecycle, from data processing and alpha generation to strategy development and portfolio optimization.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth quantitative research to develop and implement systematic trading strategies.
• Generate alpha through innovative research and data analysis.
• Collaborate with other researchers and traders to refine and enhance existing models.
• Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to identify and exploit market inefficiencies.
• Optimize portfolios by balancing risk and return objectives.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Master\'s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or Financial Engineering.
• Extensive experience in systematic equities or futures trading within a quantitative research role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or C++.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex trading strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
