Senior Quantity Surveyor ($4000 $5500/aws/vb)

Job Description
$5500 + AWS + VB + allowance5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hoursLocation: NorthResponsibilities
- Prepare and vet tender documents which include drafting contracts/specification clauses, evaluating and providing recommendations for tenders and awarding construction and procurement sub-contracts.
- Evaluate submissions and preparation on contract administration matters such as assessing contractor\'s claims for variation works, extension of time, loss and expenses, final account and handling of contractual disputes.
- Assist Contracts Manager in contractual and costing matters such main contract interim progress claims, progress report, variation order and etc..
- Ensure compliance with appropriate tending and procurement procedures
- Assist in recommending and implementing innovative solutions and best practices on procurement and contract strategy and related functions.
- Assist in project cost control and objective preparation
- Drafting of projects correspondences pertaining to site issues
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
- Diploma / Bachelor\'s Degree / Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Private Residential Projects / Commercial Projects and PPVC Projects is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
