Verification of subcontractors' / suppliers' monthly progressive claims and obtain approval before proceeding to prepare payment certificates.
Diligently prepare, negotiate, perform measurements and review a variety of company contracts, including subcontractor agreements.
To assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with the Client's representative on claims and variation costs.
Deal with significant contractual issues including extension of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions etc.
Apply strong analytical skills to assess contracts with the goal of cost reduction, profit maximization, and adherence to relevant legal and regulatory standards.
Ensure all contractual agreements comply with applicable legislation and align with the company's strategic objectives, including performing ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction / Railway Trackwork industry for major LTA projects.
Possess a recognised Bachelor Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Railway Engineering / QS.
Experienced in VO Claims is an advantage.
