Job Description

Responsibilities:

• \xc2\xb7Prepare cost estimates for project construction/ budgetary purpose
• \xc2\xb7Monitor change of designs and prepare variation application
• Advise project team on contractual issues
• Evaluate site progress and prepare interim claims
• Source and analyze cost before proceeding to procurement of trades for project
• Attend technical, site, consultant and client meetings
• Administer construction contracts/subcontracts, certify progress payments
• Prepare notification for extension of time from any potential project delay
• Prepare cost assessment for variation/alteration of works
• Prepare final accounts for construction contracts/subcontracts
• Review and understand all building drawings and specifications
• Meeting with consultants or subcontractors to review the specifications, scope of works and method of construction if required
• Build up rates for costing purpose
• Coordinate with site personnels and subcontractors to carry out site works

Requirements :

• \xc2\xb7Degree or Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying.
• \xc2\xb7Min 5 years\' experience, preferably from Main Contractor
• \xc2\xb7Well-versed in both Contracts Administration and Tenders
• \xc2\xb7Possess good negotiation and coordination skills
• \xc2\xb7Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people from all levels.
• \xc2\xb7Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem solving skills, proactive, good team player and able to meet tight deadlines
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
