Responsibilities:
Tender and contract document administration
Taking of quantities, sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, pricing and preparation of submission
Oversee negotiation and procurement of materials and equipment during project duration
Oversee preparation of BQ, variation orders, cost estimate, cost control and budgeting
Assist project team in letter / report writing and correspondences
Undertake other QS duties as and when assigned by top management
10 Year working experience in the related field, preferably specialized in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.
Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills. Strong aptitude for numbers and spreadsheets.
In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Construction-related, engineering field.
At least 10 years of working experience in construction, building, project management, manufacturing.
Have HDB project working experience
Knowledge of structural, plumbing, electrical civil (any area) will be beneficial.
Familiar with Structural drawings to prepare for tender and job order.
Competency in computer-aided drawing.
