Job Description

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor at RUNH Singapore, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial success and contractual compliance of our EPC projects. You will be responsible for cost management and control of civil and structural works, contract administration, and supporting project teams with commercial expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents for civil and structural works. Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts. Monitor budgets, conduct cost control, and implement value engineering. Manage progress payments, variation orders, and claims administration. Support project teams in resolving contractual issues and disputes. Provide timely cost and commercial reports to management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies, contract conditions, and statutory requirements. Mentor junior QS staff and contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 8 years of QS experience, with at least 3 years in EPC projects (power plants, oil & gas, or large infrastructure). Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, procurement, and cost control systems. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera P6, and cost management software. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple international projects simultaneously. Fluent in English (Mandarin is an advantage but not required). Based in Singapore with occasional travel to construction sites. Candidates able to start on short notice are strongly preferred.
