Ensures legal compliance of company products and the activities with local guidelines and codes (including but not limited to product naming, labelling, packaging design, product selling point and advertising/promotion materials)
Provide expertise and assessment comments on regulations applying to new launched products as well as professional advice and solutions relevant to potential regulatory issues.
Help in the preparation of health claim petitions and notifications to be submitted to the Authorities.
Support innovation and product lifecycle projects with regulatory expertise ensuring product compliance with regulations and standards.
Positively be involved in product registration / line extension of relevant nutrition elements and try to expedite the final completion.
Follow up and interpret on regulatory establishment and development trends, and responsible for influence future market food & beverage products requirements with the customer in focus based on a global Oatly approach.
Ensure that the Regulatory function interfaces with other internal functions to drive company-wide initiatives.
Provides a proactive regulatory watch and point of contact for the local authorities and certification organization and lead certification audits.
Collect and disseminate up-to-date official rules and custom policy as well as providing technical training for internal and external clients appropriately.
Assist on customer complain and the feedback for spot testing from CIQ/SAMR, and then take necessary corrective actions if needed.
Maintain the routine regulatory communication with customers, suppliers as well as holding meeting initiatives with target customers and Oatly affiliates teams based on actual demand.
Actively participate in new product development and formula adjustment to help to launch the product in market.
Lead withdrawals or recalls and make sure the tool/lists used in the withdrawal/ recall process are reviewed once a year in close collaboration with other stakeholders and updated if necessary.
Validate communication materials (point of sale/ advertisement) and support communication team with guidance on do\xe2\x80\x99s and don\xe2\x80\x99ts according to legislations.
Requirements:
Phd, Master or Degree in food inspection, food Science, nutrition or equivalent.
At least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience on regulatory affairs in multinational food companies.
Excellent Communication skills, fluent oral and written English.
Strong multi-task project management skills. Ability to prioritize and coordinate, with a great degree of flexibility. High level of attention to detail required.
Must be able to work autonomously and collaboratively, requiring little supervision.
Optimized, positive, cooperative, teamwork spirit, good communication skill and interpersonal skill,
Familiar with related literature file and regulation in local and abroad.
Keeps abreast of food legislation and importing provision in HK/TW area, Korea, Japan and ASEAN will be a plus.
