Senior Relationship Manager - Commodity Trade Finance

We are working with a well-capitalised investment firm with a growing presence in Singapore, focused on providing tailored financing solutions to commodity trading companies across the energy, metals, and agri space. To support their continued expansion in Asia, they are looking to hire a Senior Relationship Manager with deep expertise in commodity trade finance.




This role is ideal for a commercially driven individual who thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys full-spectrum client engagement -- from origination through to credit structuring and portfolio management.




Key Responsibilities


Originate new client relationships with commodity merchants ranging from global traders to regional players. Lead the structuring, execution, and monitoring of trade finance transactions, in collaboration with credit, legal, and operations teams. Conduct in-depth analysis of client financials, transaction risks, market positioning, and business models. Own end-to-end client engagement, including onboarding, due diligence, KYC, and ongoing relationship management. Track market trends and identify new commercial opportunities. Provide high-touch service to clients while managing risk exposures in line with internal policies.
Profile We're Looking For


At least 6 years of relevant experience in commodity trade finance, preferably in banking, trading, or fund environments. Deep technical knowledge of trade finance products and strong understanding of commodity markets. Demonstrated ability to structure credit facilities and manage portfolio risks independently. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of originating and growing client relationships.
