:The Wall Street Journal is looking for a senior reporter to join our Business, Finance and Economics team in Singapore.This team focuses on the biggest money and business stories in Asia. Its mandate is ambitious and distinctive reporting and writing: We\'re looking for revelatory investigations, world-beating scoops, I-had-no-idea features, whip-smart analysis and writerly profiles of the most interesting, influential and notorious people in the region.This reporter will work alongside others in a flexible team able to set the business-and-finance agenda in Asia, and able to pivot to the biggest topics as the story evolves.The ideal candidate for this job is well-versed in finance and money and will train his or her focus on movements of money around the region (licit or otherwise), fortunes made and lost-and the people making and losing them.We\'re looking for a reporter able to source up inside banks and government agencies, and develop expertise that leads to a cohesive body of work. The territory of the beat is vast: We\'re interested in the gusher of Chinese money flowing out of the mainland and into under- or unregulated areas in the region. We\'re interested in the gathering economic boom in India, and the fortunes being built there.
