RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on building a multimodal AI-assisted assessment system. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof Dai Bing Tian from School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS), Singapore Management University (SMU).


Candidate's core responsibilities are:


Communicate with various parties, e.g., hospitals and their IT providers, for data collection and data cleaning Perform data analysis and explore the applications of multimodal AI Build a multimodal AI-assisted assessment system Validate the system and create user documentation for the system Assist in research paper writing Administrative matters related to this project Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from an institution of higher learning; with particular focus on machine learning Minimum 4 years of relevant research or academic experience in Computer Science or closely related disciplines Able to work with elderly people to collect data and show strong passion for applying AI for tackling issues related to aging Proven track record and professional experience in coding and system building Excellent technical skills in building systems Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential
