Job Description

A Senior Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Micro and Nano-Electronics, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

:

To manage and lead research projects, guide post-graduate students and junior researchers, and support the research on 3D printing of nanomaterial-based composites for energy devices under extreme environments. This includes:

Responsible for managing research projects and timelines

Mentoring graduate students and junior researchers

Perform nanomaterial synthesis and nanocomposite ink formulations

Design and fabrication of energy harvesting/storage devices

Perform material and device characterization

Publishing research articles in high-impact journals

Prepare monthly reports and presentations for project deliverables

Job Requirements:

PhD in Mechanical, Material Science, Chemistry, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field with 3-5 years of research experience in related area

Strong background in nanomaterial synthesis

Expertise in the fabrication and characterization of energy harvesting/storage devices

Experiences in advanced batteries and supercapacitor systems are highly preferred

Good publication and research track record

Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness

Excellent communication and writing proficiency in English
