The Future Ready Food Safety Hub (FRESH) serves as Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s lead scientific platform under the Singapore Food Story R&D Programme, to bring together researchers, regulators and industry to build up Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s food safety science and R&D capabilities to secure Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s food supply and economic value proposition. FRESH will embark on R&D and talent development activities to help enhance Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s local food regulatory capabilities and allow \xe2\x80\x9cfirst-in-market\xe2\x80\x9d food products to be safely launched in Singapore, as well as help promote Singapore-developed food standards internationally. FRESH is part of the Singapore Food Story R&D Programme (SFS), with partner organisations being the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), A*STAR and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).The Senior Research Fellow, Food Toxicology, will support FRESH research into food safety science and innovations in toxicology (focusing on novel foods). The position is suited to someone looking for innovative research activity who is experienced in food microbiology, toxicology, -omics analytical platform, and risk assessment.
