Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Research Fellow to play a key role in a growing health services research division within a healthcare institution. The successful candidate will lead the development of research ideas, collaborate with clinical professionals, apply for research funding, and mentor junior researchers. A strong background in quantitative analysis and statistics is highly desirable. This role also includes administrative duties related to both research and general operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support health services and operational research projects. Write and review academic manuscripts, present research findings, and engage in collaborative research efforts. Contribute to project coordination and provide guidance to healthcare staff involved in research.

Additional Duties:

Build and manage a personal portfolio of research projects. Assist with administrative aspects of research grants, such as variation/extension requests, claims, and reporting. Take on other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

A PhD and/or degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related discipline. 4-5 years of experience in clinical or health services research is a plus. Strong foundation in health services research, applied statistics, study design, and outcome evaluation. Experience in developing data-driven solutions for healthcare improvement; familiarity with AI techniques (e.g., machine learning, predictive modeling) is advantageous. Proven ability to independently lead and deliver research projects across various health domains, from design through analysis and implementation. * Proficiency in Python or R, with practical experience using these tools in healthcare-related analytics.
