Job Description
A Corp Lab in NTU is looking for a motivated Senior Research Scientist to conduct cutting-edge research in the topic of \xe2\x80\x9cGreen Cloud Computing\xe2\x80\x9d.Key Responsibilities:Developing physics-based and data-driven models to characterize dynamics of the interconnected data center systems, including computing, cooling and electric supply;Developing optimization algorithms to minimize carbon usage subject to certain system constraints;Supervising junior graduate students;Writing technical reports, including papers, patents and technical disclosures;Working closely with team members/engineers and assist in developing new features;Ensuring responsiveness of applications;Diagnosing the issue and resolving it on demand.Job Requirements:PhD Degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, control and science engineering, information system or a related discipline;At least 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 work experience in relevant areas;Strong research record, preferably on top-tier computer science/engineering conferences or journals;Proficiency with Python and relevant packages, like NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch or Tensorflow;Experience in other programming languages, like C/C++, MATLABExcellent verbal communication skills and good problem solving skills;Attention to detail.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
