Senior Retail Merchandising Executive

Adecco is partnering with an german brand specializing in FMCG apparel industry and they are currently looking for a Senior Retail Merchandising Executive to join the team! This is a sole contributor position based in Singapore, reporting to the Manager based in Malaysia. This role requires the incumbent to be responsible for delivering buying strategies each season and managing the in-season trading of the business where inventory is managed efficiently.

Job scope:

• Execute seasonal buy in according to OTB & Budget
• Define assortment based on market/store/customer profile, participate in seasonal kickoff meetings to ensure product relevance
• Manage the right product mix with targeted division/product category
• Define product strategy by sales channel to achieve optimal sell through results
• Review seasonal collection performance and analyse consumer buying patterns to create action plans for next season
• Work with internal teams to ensure seasonal rollout is aligned with HQ
• Garner feedback from Brand ambassadors on shop floor to enhance on pre-season planning
• Monitor direct competitors against business\'s position in terms of pricing, product, technology, hero item
• Ensure timely rollout of monthly launches and product assortment plan prior launch of a season
• Participate in monthly meeting /retail visit bi-monthly
• Support in process improvement activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in related discipline is advantageous
• Minimum 2 years\' of solid retail / merchandising experience in a fashion environment
• Energetic, proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and meet tight deadline
• Good team player with strong sense of responsibility
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
