Position Overview:

Our Payment Technology - Channels Risk Management and Project Execution team is expanding in Singapore. This team is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day risk management functions including risk assessment for new product launch, periodic e-banking assessment, and pre-audit controls reviews. This Project Execution Associate is responsible for project and program delivery while ensuring compliance to delivery timelines, budget, and ensuring transparency of program risk and issues to stakeholders.

A key focus for this role will be assignments related to technology risk & control in the Channels Technology APAC Team. This role will work with application development and information security teams in the U.S. and APAC to complete e-banking assessments, pre-audit controls reviews, and APAC and EMEA approvals for new development and system enhancements.

This role will also execute Global business projects across the Channels technology platform meeting all required standards as defined by the Channels PMO for quality, consistency, and transparency. This includes full delivery life cycle of projects and programs from planning, initiation, scoping and resourcing, execution status reporting, and any other activities required to ensure overall delivery.

Position Responsibilities:

Risk Agenda:

  • Assist project teams in obtaining APAC and EMEA compliance & risk approval for new development and application enhancements.
  • Collaborate with development teams and information security managers to complete APAC risk assessments and pre-audit reviews.
  • Provide and maintain a central repository for centralized risk and project management functions
  • Provide and complete as required program reporting capabilities and schedules
  • Assist with the implementation, endorsement, and ensuring compliance of repeatable processes while providing tools and templates to navigate the processes
Project execution:
  • Delivery ownership of project goals including scope, schedule, and budget for the Channels team
  • Leads technical projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as planning, analysis, design development and implementation.
  • Establishes project requirements, priorities, and timelines with requestors.
  • Ensures project is completed in accordance with all risk, architecture and other relevant firmwide guidelines/roadmaps
  • Coordinates resources (staff, infrastructure, vendors and consultants) across multiple concurrent projects
  • Operates within the boundaries of the Channels Operating Model and Budget planning processes
  • Manages budget for assigned investments, communicates project progress and works closely with Tech resource managers and Product leads
  • Change Management impacting project scope, cost, resource, or delivery schedule

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technology delivery or project management
Experience:

Required
  • Project management and/or technology delivery experience
  • Good team building with strong leadership and people skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and listening skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Creative problem solving
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Products (e.g. Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio) and Jira
  • Written and verbal communication skills of Mandarin to support clients in China
Useful
  • Understand and be familiar with the workings of APAC banking regulatory bodies (e.g. MAS, HKMA, FSS, etc.), as well hands-on experiences in dealing with auditors, Compliance and regulators
  • Technology Risk and Controls experience
  • Project Management or Agile certification (e.g. PMP, CSM, etc)
