Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project detail design, prototype, commissioning/protocol execution and testing completed systems
• Work with cross-functional teams on projects related to machine and/or process improvement and software process optimization.
• Assist Engineer or immediate supervisor on the integration and troubleshooting of both hardware and software on site connectivity and equipment programming
• Collect and analyse data, identify root cause(s) and provide resolution to problems.
• Provide support to mechanical and validation/process engineers on site verification and documentation
• Plan and optimize time, resources and materials required for projects and trial runs.
• Coordinate and manage factory testing in both vendor and plant premises
• Raise purchase requisition for project and spare part
• Backup for SCADA engineer on management of equipment software, SCADA and BMS
• Plan and design on networking/cabling work for devices

Job Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Computer Engineer / Electronic and Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of related experience with working knowledge of troubleshooting or setting up of various automation systems (distributed control systems, programmable logic controllers, SCADA system)

Additional Skills:

• Ability to understand P&ID, electrical schematic drawing and specification
• Experience in PLC logic and programming (e.g., Allen Bradley (Logix 5000), Siemens (Step7), Elau, Bosch, Omron, Modicon, GE Fanuc, B&R, Mitsubishi, VB, SQL, Wonderware InTouch, RS View, Siemens, Labview, Factory Talk, GE Cimplicity)
• Knowledge in Alen Bradley & Siemens PLC and Wonderware SCADA for troubleshooting automation system.
• Experience in new process or equipment validation such as IQOQ & PQ
