My client is hiring a Senior Robotics Project Lead to drive our R&D initiatives in advanced pick-and-place automation. This role will oversee our corp-lab operations, lead cross-functional teams, and collaborate closely with NTU professors to integrate cutting-edge vision, AI, and control systems with industrial robots.

  • Work location: West
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm
The Job:
  • Design, implement, and optimize robotic manipulation systems for industrial automation tasks such as pick-and-place and assembly.
  • Develop control algorithms or feedback loops for precise motion control using force/torque sensors, vision systems, and actuators.
  • Design 2D/3D vision systems and AI-driven perception pipelines for object detection, pose estimation, and grasp validation.
  • Create and test motion planning algorithms including path generation, obstacle avoidance, and multi-arm coordination.
  • Integrate and calibrate industrial sensors, cameras, and robot arms using platforms such as ABB, Yaskawa, or KUKA.
  • Conduct simulations and validations using ROS, Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or similar environments to ensure deployment-readiness.
  • Perform robot teaching, trajectory optimization, and real-world testing of robotic systems.
