Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

SAP Basis Consultant

with a strong background in

User and Role Authorisation Management

to support system administration, security design, and compliance for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP Basis operations and hands-on experience managing large-scale enterprise landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SAP system landscapes, including installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and transport management. Lead

SAP Authorisation

activities: design, implementation, and maintenance of roles, profiles, and access controls. Ensure compliance with internal security and audit standards (e.g., SoD analysis, access reviews). Troubleshoot system and authorisation-related issues in collaboration with functional and technical teams. Monitor system performance, perform capacity planning, and manage background jobs. Support client audits and implement recommendations for security and system integrity. Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Requirements

Minimum

10 years of SAP Basis

experience, with at least

5 years specialising in SAP Authorisation and Security

. Proven experience supporting SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA landscapes (including HANA DB). Strong understanding of SAP GRC Access Control and role design principles. Experience in system refresh, transport management, OSS note application, and kernel upgrades. Familiarity with OS (Linux/Windows) and DB (HANA/Oracle) administration preferred. * Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
