The Team

The Business Applications team provides platform, business process, and technology expertise to support our global SAP implementation, by designing / improving business processes, managing complex implementation projects, providing user support and training, and keeping the SAP system landscape up and running 24/7. In addition, the Business Applications team helps optimize the use of all SAP products implemented in a cost-effective manner, to support and enhance Client overall success.

The Role:

The Senior SAP Developer will be based out of Noida, India location working a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). You will be a core member of the Business Applications Team within IT working closely with the technical and functional teams to drive continuous improvements by developing timely and innovative solutions. This role will work closely functional resources to understand business problems, issues, and priorities and will provide production support activities as well as new technical enhancements and global project implementations. The successful candidate will have experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing solutions on the SAP S/4 platform.

Responsibilities

• SAP development including design, coding, and unit testing of RICEFW objects, integrations, and custom applications in S/4, Fiori and PI/PO

• Understand business requirements, challenges and opportunities and assist with the design of the SAP ERP solution to meet established business objectives

• Work with Dev Lead to research technical solutions, identify options and provide recommendations to the SAP Dev Manager that represent the best interests of the organization

• Ensure delivery of quality deliverables that meet with internal coding guidelines and business expectations

• Respond quickly and efficiently when debugging, identifying root cause, and resolving production defects

• Transform functional requirements into technical specifications, build, unit test, complete code checks and deploy programs

• Work with development and functional leads to re-engineer business processes and map processes to S/4 and FIORI functionality

• Manage production incidents through proactive analysis and problem resolution to improve processes and systems

• Ensure team members, managers and users are kept up-to-date on status of project and production work

• Interface with SAP development staff and third-party software providers (SAP and others) as required for technical matters

• Participate in the development of test scripts; performance of unit, integration, regression and user acceptance testing; and assistance with performance testing

• Support weekly releases for deployment of code to production using SolMan Charm and collaborate with BASIS and Release Manager as needed, including backports to Project and/or Production Paths

• Continue personal professional development in the areas of development, project management, SAP and other relevant information technology tools

• Continue to expand knowledge of Clinet\xe2\x80\x99s business with a focus on understanding the impact the business processes have on our applications

• Programming experience related to reporting, ALV reporting, dialog transactions, Data Dictionary Objects, enhancements, SAP script, Smart Forms, Adobe forms, User Exits, Enhancements, ,BADI,VOFM Routines, Output Types,BAPI\xe2\x80\x99, RFC, Web Dynpro, ALE, EDI, IDOC\xe2\x80\x99s, CDS Views, AMDP\xe2\x80\x99s and FIORI.

• Experience developing in SAP with ABAP/4 and/or HANA using HANA Studio or Web IDE, Eclipse

• Develop backend web-services and RESTful API\'s (Node.js, OData).

• Experience with enterprise Data Integration and Migration support technologies including ETL, SQL, XSLT, XML.

• Hands-on experience in integration between SAP modules (e.g., FI, SD, MM, QM, PM, PP, LE, APO, CO, etc.).

• Working understanding of security standards (e.g., SAML, XACML, MASSL, OATH, OAUTH, OpenID Connect, WSTrust).

• Experience with various programming/scripting languages (JAVA, Python, JavaScript).

• Experience working on implementation projects.

• Experience using Agile processes for project implementations and ticketing systems like ZenDesk and Jira

• 5+ years of work experience with SAP ABAP design and development

• Understanding of SAP ABAP development concepts, guidelines and SAP architecture

• Reporting, ALV reporting, dialog transactions, enhancements, SAP script, Smart Forms, User Exits, Enhancements, BAPI\xe2\x80\x99, RFC, Web Dynpro, ALE, EDI, IDOC\xe2\x80\x99s, CDS Views, AMDP\xe2\x80\x99s and FIORI.

• Deep knowledge of ERP systems in any kind of industry

• Understanding of business processes within high tech or manufacturing and trade industries

• Configuration and/or consulting experience in one of the following modules: FI, SD, MM, QM, PM, PP, LE, APO, CO, etc.) is a plus

• Ability to develop repeatable development processes with supporting documentation.

• Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear, concise and tactful communication with clients, peers and team members.

• Required university degree, preferably in, business, engineering, information technologies or equivalent training and job experience

• ABAP or any SAP Developer certification is a plus.
