Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end S/4HANA migration projects, including system conversion, data migration, and process redesign.
Conduct detailed assessments of existing ECC systems and design the target architecture in S/4HANA.
Define and implement FICO processes including GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Profit Center Accounting.
Oversee SAP New GL Activation, Asset Accounting Migration, and Universal Journal (ACDOCA) alignment.
Collaborate with business users, finance teams, and technical consultants to gather requirements and design scalable FICO solutions.
Configure SAP FICO modules in line with business requirements and SAP best practices.
Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training.
Provide post-go-live support and continuous process improvements.
Act as a functional lead and mentor for junior consultants on S/4HANA projects.
Key Skills & Competencies
15-20 years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 2-3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
Deep knowledge of S/4HANA Finance innovations - Universal Journal, Business Partner Approach, Parallel Ledger, Margin Analysis, etc.
Experience in Central Finance (CFin) and/or Group Reporting is a plus.
Sound understanding of integration with MM, SD, PP, and PS modules.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in documentation, blueprinting, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
SAP Certification in FICO and/or S/4HANA (preferred).
Experience working with global teams and multi-country rollouts.
Familiarity with Activate methodology, Fit-Gap analysis, and Agile/Waterfall project delivery.
Nice to Have
Exposure to Taxation, Treasury, Revenue Recognition (RAR), or Project Systems (PS).
Experience with SAP Fiori apps for Finance.
