Description of the position: Senior Security Project Engineer

A Senior Security Project Engineer with extensive expertise is needed to join our team. You will be a vital part of design, implementation, and management of security solutions a Senior Security Project Engineer. You will take the lead in organizing and carrying out security projects and driving our security initiatives and upholding a strong security posture will need the use of your experience in security engineering, and security project management, and security assurance in projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of a project\'s lifecycle, including planning, estimating costs, allocating resources, executing and contacting stakeholders.

• Oversee the development, optimization and administration of security solutions for projects.

• Identify risks, weaknesses, and potential threats, conduct thorough projects.

• Create and implement security standards, processes, and policies in compliance with MAS TRM and industry best practices.

• Integrate security controls and measures into systems and infrastructure by working with cross-functional teams.

• Work in coordination with outside suppliers and partners to guarantee the smooth completion of security initiatives.

• Junior team members should receive technical mentoring and advice to foster professional development.

• Prepare and present thorough project reports and progress to key audiences, such as reporting and senior management.

• Degree in computer science, information security, or a related subject.

• Certificates like GDSA / TOGAF / SABSA / CISSP.

• 7 years of experience in security project management, as well as demonstrated experience as a security engineer.

• Familiarity with industry security frameworks and regulations (such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI \xe2\x80\x93DSS and MAS TRM).

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work successfully with stakeholders and establish connections.

• Leadership qualities and the capacity to guide and mentor the team members.

• Capacity to coordinate several tasks with competing priorities.

• Strong technical proficiency in the concepts of security engineering, including Network Security (FW / IPS / Anti-DDoS), Endpoint Protection, Encryption, WAF / CDN/ DNS, Proxy, DLP, SIEM and Vulnerability Management.

• It is preferred that candidates have knowledge of cloud security and experience securing cloud settings (such as AWS).
