Organize and lead the external sensory panel session. Liaise with the key stakeholder to understand the background of each project and proceed with the adapted sensory evaluation protocol
Monitor the performance of the external panel and plan ongoing training as well as targeted training sessions according to performance monitoring results
Liaise with an external agency for recruitment, training of new external panelists and administrative tasks such as payroll
Organize and prepare sensory tests with the internal panel to support regional business and global innovation projects including session planning, sample preparation, data collection & analysis, panelist performance monitoring and report communication
Manage sensory requests from the region from briefs to results delivery, liaising with stakeholders and presenting statistics results in an intelligible way
Manage optimum operation of sensory testing facilities, inventory maintenance, in-house databases, statistical software, proactive in any suggested solution to simplify the daily tasks requested in a sensory laboratory
You bring:
Bachelor Degree in either one of the disciplines: Sensory Science, Food Science, Market Research, Consumer Behavior, Statistics
Familiar with statistical treatment & data interpretation, preferably with FIZZ, XLSTAT, SensoMiner R software as well as MS Office Skills (Excel, Power point, Words)
Possesses trained sensory taste acuity, good interpersonal and communication skills, teamwork spirit and independency in project management
Min. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role or as trained panel leader from related industry
Prior experience in leading sensory trained/expert or external consumer panels & interacting with market agencies
Expertise in a broad range of sensory/ consumer techniques and appropriate statistical knowledge
Fluent in English/Chinese with no restrictions or allergy towards food, flavor, chemical items
