We are partnering with a global commodities trading firm in search for a Senior Shipping Operator

Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and executing vessel operations, including loading, unloading and transshipment
- Monitoring the sea and weather conditions to ensure safe shipping operations
- Collaborating with the owners, managers and captains to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Maintaining timely and accurate updates with regards to vessel documentation
- Managing and tracking performance of vessels
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety and health regulations
- Degree in the maritime/offshore field or a related field of study
- At least five years of experience as a tanker vessel operator
- Great communication skills
- Good knowledge of maritime regulations and best practices
