Job Description

The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for assisting with traffic diversions/ road projects and related aspects of the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and supervise junior engineer and assistant engineer ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors
• Experience in drain diversion will be an advantage.
• Manage the road works sub-contractor and coordinating with the team.
• Involves utility diversions/ utility handling, so the person in charge should have knowledge of utility works and requirements.
• Preparation of basic program (estimated targeted) for the site team to follow accordingly.
• Ability to resolve drawing discrepancies prior to start of work and issue the coordinated structural drawings for construction and to raise technical issue to Structural Consultants.
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
• Involve in coordination between sub-contractors/vendors/departments and anticipate labour /material/equipment demands to meet schedules
• Involve in planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.

• Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team/department
• Ability to assess types of roads, and knowledge of roads elements and structures

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Singapore underground MRT / Civil projects is an advantage
• Minimally have completed 1 cycle of the project with at least $100M
• Have good interpersonal skills
