The Employee Compute Product Security team within Cyber & Technology Controls Line of Business provide the full end to end life cycle of security tools installed on every Employee Compute platform utilized within the Organization. We adhere to the CI/CD pipeline and our strategic direction is to have everything as code to allow high levels of automation and reduction of toil to meet our SLOs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and debug automated tasks (Apps, Systems, Infrastructure)
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems
  • Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases
  • Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
  • Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns
  • Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands
  • Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent qualification
  • Min. 6 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Proficiency in one or more modern languages PowerShell, Python to allow path to automation and remove toil
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
  • Excellent understanding of the Windows Operating system
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Group Policy Management and Organization Unit structure within Active Directory
  • Understanding of security tools at the Operating System for Windows, Linux and mac OSx
  • Good understanding of telemetry workflow to event logging systems such as data lakes, Splunk, Grafana, LogA using tools such as Kafka or FluentD
  • Excellent communication skills and has a keen ability to ask questions
  • The ability to identify solutions and work independently as well as be an integral member of a team
