Senior Software Engineer (Java, Spring Boot, CI/CD)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all phases of software development, ensuring high-volume, low-latency applications that meet mission-critical requirements.
• Write efficient, well-designed, and testable code to elevate code quality and system performance.
• Analyze business needs and generate technical design documents in line with our architectural guidelines.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to development teams, managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) queries and coordinating UAT activities.
• Achieve and maintain expected application performance levels, conducting thorough unit and system testing.
• Document and track defects found during testing, engaging with project management to resolve issues and update teams accordingly.
• Review code for improvements and optimize system performance, actively contributing to performance enhancement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
• Demonstrate at least 5 years of solid Java development experience with an expert-level understanding of Java programming.
• Ideally, exhibit strong familiarity with Microservices architectures, hands-on expertise in developing and deploying Microservices solutions, and proficiency in containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Showcase proficiency in Java Spring Boot framework, RESTful APIs (JAX-RS), JSON, Angular, JPA/Hibernate, Bean Validation, and Google GWT. Experience in android and IOS development is advantageous.
• Utilize source code management tools like GIT and demonstrate experience with build tools such as ant, maven, and Gradle.
• Possess exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in Java/J2EE technologies.
• Display a robust background in working within Linux/UNIX environments.
• Communicate effectively through written and verbal means, contributing to a collaborative and productive team environment.
