Role Overview
This role will work closely with senior engineers to deliver features, improve system quality, and progressively take on larger technical ownership.
Key Responsibilities
a? Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for the platforms.
a? Implement features with attention to code quality, performance, and maintainability.
a? Work with senior engineers to refactor and improve existing codebases, including legacy components.
a? Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and solution design under guidance.
a? Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in development and production environments.
a? Write clean, testable code aligned with team standards and practices.
a? Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
a? Gradually take ownership of specific modules or services as experience grows.
Required Technical Skills
a? Solid experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET (Core or Framework) in production systems.
a? Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
a? Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL), including basic query optimization.
a? Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and core design principles.
a? Familiarity with common backend patterns (layered architecture, basic MVC, dependency injection).
a? Experience using Git and working in a team-based development workflow.
Nice to Have
a? Exposure to modernizing or maintaining legacy systems.
a? Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) or CI/CD pipelines.
a? Familiarity with basic automated testing practices.
a? Understanding of asynchronous or background processing patterns.
Experience & Background
a? Typically 2-5 years of backend development experience.
a? Hands-on experience delivering production features end-to-end.
a? Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Working hours:
Mon to Fri 9am-6pm
