Job Description

Be the pioneering Senior Ruby Developer in the Philippines of an international financial products and services company. Based in Singapore, they are on a rapid market expansion in Southeast Asia and beyond and now building their Manila team with us in Penbrothers. You will contribute to delivering key initiatives, starting from the ideation phase all the way through requirement definition, analysis, technical specifications, development, and product delivery with the guidance of a Technical Lead.
Responsibilities
Analyze specifications and business needs to determine appropriate technologies and configurations to meet those business requirements.
Perform back-end development using Ruby on Rails in Test Driven Development workflow.
Deliver mostly ground up development work and new features implementations on existing applications.
Perform unit tests using RSpec or other unit test tools suitable to a Ruby code base.
Help establish coding standards and best practices in the team. Qualifications
Senior level of experience in Ruby on Rails programming creating complex and large-scale applications.
Strong experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Test Driven Development (TDD) is a must.
Experience is unit testing (RSpec or other equivalent tools) is a must.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills is a must.
Experiences in writing regression test suites for Web Applications and APIs in Ruby on Rails is a major advantage.
Knowledge is HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge in VueJS or React JS is nice to have.

10 am to 7 pm
