Duration

Helicap is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Private Credit Investment Platform and Credit Analytics Platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions for our Private Credit Investment Platform.
• Create solutions to ingest and analyse loanbook and financial data for our Credit Analytics platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Take ownership of your work as a product engineer, influencing both technical direction and product design.
• The ability to adapt and handle multiple competing priorities in collaboration with peers.

Skill Sets and Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3-4+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Golang, Java or similar programming languages.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with MongoDB or other non-relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the financial services or fintech industry.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Apache Parquet or similar technologies.
• Working with data-intensive applications.
