RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy secure software solutions.
• Can implement DevSecOps practices to automate security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuously monitor and improve the security posture of our systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth and success of the engineering team.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats, industry trends, and best practices in DevOps and Agile methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on DevSecOps and Agile development.
• Good understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and configuration management.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/Typescript, and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and WAF will be added advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different disciplines.
• Certifications such as Scrum Master or Certified DevOps Engineer are a plus.
