• Location: CBD Area, near MRT
• Working Hours: Mon - Fri (8.30am - 6pm)

As Senior Software Engineer, you will be required to:

• Improving system quality by identifying issues and common patterns, and developing standard operating procedures
• Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to implement technical coding/ designs
• Ability to filter intricate software discrepancies
• Research and investigation, using new technologies where relevant
• Providing written knowledge transfer material Pair programming with clients to build/ modernize software based on the team's backlog
• Leading one or more teams through complex engineering efforts
• Managing risk and uncertainty while moving the team forward
• Generating progress reports with recommendation and proposal

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related filed, or equivalent experience
• Experience in training, mentoring and/or upskilling others
• Strong communication skills and interest in a pair-programming environment
• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies, including refactoring
• 3+ years (executive position)/ 8+ years (senior position) of Software development experience in a variety of programming languages and frameworks
• Passion for growing your skills, engage in interesting work and challenging problems
• Strong team work skill set and adaptability to new challenges and situations with internal project team and external stakeholders
• Knowledge or experience with cloud providers and infrastructure is required
• Experience building distributed/ service oriented/ micro service-style and cloud-based application architectures
• Strong architecture skills, able to present ideas and implement designs to meet the needs of the organization
• Experience modernizing legacy applications/ systems in languages such as Java or C#/.NET and other
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools and others
